Multitalented Jennifer Tilly is now nicknamed “The Unabombshell” after being hooked to poker.
Multitalented Jennifer Tilly has won the World Series of Poker 2005 Ladies No Limit Texas Hold’em in Las Vegas knocking out the other 599 players in that tournament out of which 100 were professionals, bagging an amount of $158,625.
Just two months from this feat, she won the third World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational event at the Bicycle Casino. Jennifer Tilly’s accomplishment in the world of poker has unarguably added a lot to her 20 years of Hollywood career.
Jennifer started playing poker with celebrity showdown and was caught in the excitement of it. She said, "I'm hooked on poker. I'm not going to stop playing until I lost all my money." The interesting news is Tilly is now dating poker professional Phil “Unabomber” Laak and is nicknamed "The Unabombshell" in the poker circuit.
And, she is on the cover of women’s poker magazine, Woman Poker Player June issue quoted as, “Star perform on the felt.”
Jennifer Tilly was born in Harbor City, California. Jennifer was brought up with her two sisters in the rural setting of British Columbia, Canada. Jennifer started her acting career as a teenager at theatre programs in her college.
Jennifer Tilly has more than fifty movies to her credit, with "Bride of Chucky" being the most famous one. She has been nominated for the Oscar in the year 1994 for Bullets Over Broadway and has acted in a number of other movies like "Liar Liar," "Bound" and "The Haunted Mansion". And her breakthrough movie was The Fabulous Baker Boys in 1989. She was nominated as best actress for Academy Award for her role of Olive in the Woody Allen film.
