House of Blues

When the House of Blues isn't busy hosting one of the hottest concerts in town, the venue turns into a hip night spot that offers some of the most extraordinary club nights in Vegas.

If you're tired of techno and you're feeling nostalgic, take a trip back in time on Fridays when DJs spin the best of '70s, '80s and '90s dance hits.

Go-go dancers help get the crowd moving, which isn't tough to do. Where else can you still dance to Duran Duran, The Cure and Pet Shop Boys?

Dig into the back of the closet and break out the bell-bottoms and platform shoes on Saturday nights when Boogie Knights takes the stage for live disco and '70s pop. Boogie Knights is well-known locally as one of the most dynamic live acts in town. The group dresses the part in disco gear and afro wigs while belting out tunes from KC and the Sunshine Band, Jackson 5, the Commodores and Donna Summer.

You even can live out your childhood fantasies of being a Solid Gold dancer by participating in the weekly dance contest.

If you're not feeling the groove and just want to sit back and watch the fun unfold, there is a limited seating area available with great views of the stage for bottle service patrons only.

The House of Blues features an eclectic Southern-inspired decor celebrating blues music. The venue is home to hundreds of unique pieces of original folk art. There are two large, well-staffed bars open during the club hours to help keep thirsty dancers cool, and since this is a concert venue, there's a great view of the dance floor and stage from just about any corner of the club.

Location: Inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
