Jerri
Thomas
In the year 1998, Jerri Thomas drove into
the world of professional poker with a
bang scoring a second place finish in
the 29th World Series of Poker, Ladies
Event. She played seven-card stud in this
tournament, which was her first major
event.
Jerri did not participate in another
major tournament till 2000. Compensating
this inactivity, she played in six major
tournaments and reached the final table
in three of those events. Since then she
has won a World Series of Poker bracelet
and bagged almost $400,000 in tournament
wins.
Jerri has a total of 26 cash winnings
and one first place finish with the bracelet
of WSOP. While she participated nine times
in the WSOP, she made it to the top 10
for six times, which a striking record.
Jerri and her husband, Harry—who
too plays poker—enjoy life and maintain
a good balance between poker career and
other activities.
